Professional Services Operations, you play an instrumental role in
helping our Professional Services organization run as effectively
and efficiently as possible, ensuring that everything we do is
scalable as we grow, and that the leadership team has the
information they need to make strategic decisions about the
business. Championing program management standard methodologies,
you will work with the team on all dimensions of the customer's
experience. By building and honing the skills, tools, and processes
needed to deliver successful projects, you will create high
customer value and satisfaction balanced with achieving critical
outcomes and internal financial success. As an experienced leader
you will take proactive ownership of sophisticated planning,
resolve programmatic challenges, and provide strategic
recommendations to ensure business objectives are consistently met.
You will also ensure initiatives align to our strategy and provide
progress visibility against those initiatives ongoing: staffing
management, financial forecasting, project administrative support,
methodology center of excellence, and reporting and analytics.
- Build a solid knowledge foundation of the Vendavo products and
our solutions/deliverables in order to support the team and
customers
- Evolve operating models, frameworks, communication plans,
practices and PM artifacts to be a cohesive set of tools for
optimal execution
- Be a strong advocate for the use of our PSA system and
associated data capture and reporting
- Design an alignment plan that addresses the overall needs of
our team members
- Evaluate, intake, and prioritize projects and staffing in
partnership with Sales, Customer Success, the RMO and Services
Selling
- Report on overall portfolio status and the revenue forecast to
relevant internal audiences including our executive team
- Own planning, resourcing and project issue resolution, and
proactively solve for the leadership team
- Lead cross-functional collaboration, ensuring clarity of focus
and driving commitments
- Own and lead initiatives that support our corporate strategy
and provide regular status against those efforts
- Communicate opportunities for additional or different services
and navigate internal scoping/replanning processes with the
Services Selling team
- Staffing: provide strategic guidance regarding staffing and
resource management practices, work with Services Leadership on
staffing organization strategy and analysis.
- Financial Forecasting: work with Project Delivery resources to
provide regular, accurate Services revenue forecasts, work with
Finance to set quarterly and annual Services targets, work with
Accounting to review and assess monthly and quarterly revenue
achievement, manage to the quarterly and annual expense targets set
by Finance, and report on financial metrics in the monthly Business
Unit Review and quarterly Board of Directors meetings.
- Project Administrative Support: responsible for providing all
aspects of project administrative support including system
administrative support of OpenAir, supporting Project Managers and
Project Delivery Directors with analysis, ad hoc requests, or other
administrative needs, producing Services invoices in a timely
manner, ensuing policies and procedures are followed, and serving
as a central point of contact for stakeholders outside of
Services.Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, or related field, or
equivalent experience
- At least 10 years of professional services experience with
complex software implementations
- Strong business acumen
- The ability to think both strategically and tactically
- Experience working with C-Suite, including strong
interpersonal/negotiation skills, conflict resolution, and creative
problem solving
- Experience managing a team, preferably including direct reports
in other geographies
- Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communications
skills
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skillsAdditional
