Job Description:
The Associate Digital Media Director is responsible for
directing, planning and implementing interactive media campaigns,
and managing the digital activation team. Responsibilities Direct,
plan and implement interactive media campaigns including: CPM, CPC,
CPL and numerous retargeting media placements Develop, present,
implement and optimize interactive media plans and strategies
Search engine marketing --- SEO and SEM initiatives Social Media
--- planning of paid social media Rich media and online video
placements Direct, plan, and implement emerging interactive media
campaigns including: Instant text messaging, content sponsorships,
mobile and text marketing. Programmatic online buying --- display,
video and mobile using agency preferred vendor platforms (Tube
Mogul, Torrential), as well as others Work as part of the
integrated media planning group, applying interactive media
solutions to overall client objectives Work with media planning,
account service, social media, creative teams and analytics teams
to determine what specific needs are for interactive advertising
Utilize available interactive media planning tools (i.e., comScore,
eMarketer and other industry research, client---s historical media
activity reports) to develop interactive media plans Work with
creative team to ensure creative specifications of negotiated plan
are satisfied Develop POVs as needed in response to client and
planning team requests Actively provide relevant information about
trends in interactive media to planning group, agency stakeholders
and clients Negotiate with interactive and media and PURL---s
vendors and provide a final negotiated recommendation to the client
Monitor media campaigns via third-party ad serving software, having
daily, weekly and/or monthly campaign performance meetings
internally and reporting results to client Develop ---Media
Alerts--- and documents for ZADV.com and regular client mailings
Supervise and train associate media director, supervisors, and
junior level staff Requirements Bachelor---s degree in related
field or equivalent experience 7 years media planning experience of
Senior or Supervisor Level Third-party ad serving, tracking and
reporting expertise (e.g. Double-click) Strong knowledge of online
media campaign/tracking tools including DoubleClick---s DCP/ DART
systems. Experience directly managing and supervising a digital
media team Proven ability to conceive and develop quality,
well-conceived and successful media plans MS Office: Internet
Explorer, Excel, Word and PowerPoint Experience with most of the
following media planning tools: TNS, Scarborough, Media Monitors,
Nielsen, Arbitron, Tactician, and Simmons Proficient with comScore
or similar product, MS Office (Internet Explorer, Excel, Word and
PowerPoint) Experience in working with retail clients is highly
desirable The responsibilities are many, various, and not limited
to those written in this document
