We are seeking a career-minded individual for the position of Information System Security Officer/Manager - eMASS, preferably someone who is looking for long-term growth and potential . - In addition to the job description below, candidates must possess strong customer service skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to multi-task at a quick pace. - Being a team player is a must!

SUMMARY: Responsible for creating and implementing security plans, enforcing information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies, creating security plans, conducting Risk Assessment Reports and System Requirements Traceability Matrices (SRTMs)

Job Requirements:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support adoption and implementation of NIST-based standards across the company
Support all steps of NIST 800.53
Participate in the selection of the organization's common security controls and in determining their suitability for use in the information system
Review the security controls regarding their adequacy in protecting the information and information system
Prepare and review documentation to include Systems Security Plans (SSPs), Risk Assessment Reports, Certification and Accreditation (C&A) packages, and System Requirements Traceability Matrices (SRTMs), support security authorization activities
Implement and enforcing information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies
Evaluate security solutions to ensure they meet security requirements for processing classified information; perform vulnerability/risk assessment analysis to support certification and accreditation
Manage changes to the system and assess the security impact of those changes
Risk Management expert; hands on experience with RMF and eMASS
Implement cybersecurity controls and security engineering for enterprise and tactical systems
Address vulnerabilities and maintain product security posture
Review, prepare, and update RMF authorization packages and other security documents as required
Plan and schedule Authority to Operate (ATO) critical path for 1, 3, or 5 year accreditations
Conduct assessments of information security controls in order to measure the effectives of controls and identify any gaps
Manage remediation efforts and report on the status of control deficiencies
Provide continuous monitoring security expertise to the company
Provide timely status updates/reporting on assessments and assigned projects
Assist in other tasks as required
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Demonstrated ability to balance department efficiency and service excellence
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills including ability to listen attentively and to communicate information clearly and effectively
Demonstrated interpersonal, collaborative, and relationship-building skills; ability to interact positively with teammates at various levels across the company and customers
Demonstrated ability to work well with cross-functional groups
Self-motivated, able to multi-task, and detail oriented
Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
Must be able to learn procedures quickly and be a team player
Able to maintain a professional demeanor and a polished professional appearance
Background checks will be completed on all candidates considered for hire.

REQUIREMENTS:
3+ years of experience is required as an ISSO/ ISSM including experience implementing, and enforcing information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies, creating security plans, policies & procedures (SSP's), Risk Assessment Reports or SRTM's
Hands on experience with RMF and eMASS
Demonstrated experience with Risk Management Framework
Experience under DHA a plus
Experience in assessing systems using NIST 800-53 and/or DISA STIGs and SRGs
Easily adapt to new organizations / technical environments
Project management on small to medium projects
PREFERRED:
Security Clearance: - TS/SCI
Certifications: Cybersecurity certifications, such as CISSP, CISSO, CISM, CompTIA Security+, CISA, CEH, GCIH, GCIA, GCFA, GCFE, CDMP, CDP-DG or similar
Experience integrating disparate systems to enhance efficiency
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Frequently required to sit, walk, stand, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl
Continually utilize visual acuity to operate equipment, read
technical information, and/or use a keyboard
Frequently required to lift/push/carry items up to 50 pounds
Work on Specialized equipment
