Overview
Kimley-Horn's roadway team is looking for an experienced civil engineering professional to join our Fort Lauderdale office.
Responsibilities
The person selected for this role will perform roadway engineering and project management tasks for private and public sector clients.The candidate will develop concepts, preliminary engineering and final design for projects. Tasks include but are not limited to; developing geometric alignments, profiles, modeling, typical crosssections, grading design, drainage, superelevation, construction details, work zone traffic control,design report writing, and signing and striping plans. In addition, this role will assist in managing projects.
Qualifications
Position Requirements:

• 
  
• 
  BS degree in Civil Engineering
  
  
• 
  Current P.E. registration in the State of Florida
  
  
• 
  3 or more years of relevant municipal engineering design experience
  
  
• 
  Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  
  
• 
  Outstanding organizational skills
  
  
• 
  Strong sense of self-initiative to meet client deadlines
  
  
• 
  Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
