SUMMARY: - Responsible for troubleshooting critical issues, including - PC, server or networking, mobility, software and hardware across multiple sites. Serves as lead IT liaison between business unit and IT departments.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide assistance and support to problem recognition, research, isolation and resolution steps. Interact with network services, software systems engineering, and/or applications development to restore service and/or identify and correct core problems. Simulate or recreate IT problems to resolve operating difficulties. Recommend systems modifications to reduce environment problems. Record, track and document the problem-solving process for each ticket, including steps taken through to final resolution. Provide hardware, software and networking support. Diagnose and troubleshoot advanced network issues. Apply diagnostic utilities to aid in troubleshooting and test fixes prior to closing tickets to ensure problems are adequately resolved. Use problem management database and help desk system. May provide guidance/training for business unit. Maintain currency and high level of technical skill in field of expertise. Prioritize issues and escalate more complex problems to second level support, senior level, or supervisor as needed.
