Location:Fort Lauderdale Requisition:R25551 Senior Presales Engineer Specialist (Open) Job Posting Title:Senior Presales Engineer Specialist What we're looking for: You are a Senior Pre-Sales Engineer with 5 years of experience in high tech, indirect sales with a record of success in driving customer adoption of technology. You are up for the challenge of becoming an expert on Citrix solutions, and are comfortable driving technology adoption. This is a remote based position with travel to customer locations or corporate meetings, as needed. Position Overview: The Americas Partner Solutions Engineer is responsible for working with the Americas Channel team that includes Partner Account Managers to help develop and support their managed partners. The Partner Solutions Engineer will also serve as a trusted adviser to our managed partner community and requires an entrepreneurial spirit as well as an understanding of the channel business model, channel, and sales processes. The Partner Solutions Engineer will build, manage, and support processes that grow our business with our partners through GTM offers and solutions. The Partner Solutions Engineer will also be viewed as a technical expert in both the Citrix and Partner Technologies. Role Responsibilities: Establishing relationships with technical personnel to identify opportunities and sell Citrix products, creating formal networks with key decision makers and serving as spokesperson for Citrix. Collaborate with other enablement team members, enterprise architects and field sale engineers to implement/execute channel-ready content, programs, and projects. Support the Americas Partner Account Managers, through alignment with their business plans for managed partners. Act as channel champion and advocate across the sales/channel business to ensure that the right programs, tools, and content are developed to support the managed partner. Work cross-functionally within Citrix (Americas Channel, Americas Readiness and Field Sales team) to ensure that new content and tools align with the channel business model and relevancy. Ensure accurate and timely activity, issue updates and reporting to management. Consistently provides contribution to the broader team's technical mindshare. Creating and delivering technical product demonstrations, proofs of concepts, pilots, presentations, and training sessions either remotely, at customer locations, or at Citrix facilities. Working on issues that impact design/selling success or address future concepts, products, or technologies. Deliver technical briefings on Citrix products and/or technology domains. Identify new Opportunities and grow existing Opportunities. Drive innovation and remain at the forefront for specialization areas, including maintaining relevant industry certifications. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience Experience working within a company's channel organization or at a channel partner. Pre-sales consulting and/or channel enablement is required in any of these technology areas: Microsoft Azure, Microsoft WVD, VDI technologies, Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, and Citrix Workspace 5+ years with pre-sales or system engineering experience in a high tech, indirect sales, and procurement environment with a record of success in driving customer adoption of technology Solid architectural skills in Citrix products and technologies are required. Willing to travel approximately 50% of the time within the Americas. The following certifications are beneficial but not required: Citrix Certified Professional (CCP-V) or Citrix Certified Expert (CCE-V) certification or Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals or Azure Solutions Architect Expert Preferred Skills/Requirements: Strong work ethic, attitude and follow through ability. Excellent oral and written communications skills, as well as excellent presentation skills Must be flexible, dependable, and capable of multi-tasking. Strong knowledge of Citrix virtualization products and technology architectures Ability to articulate and understand the customer strategy and Citrix solution strategy; ability to make a compelling case for Citrix products. Creates and delivers technical product presentations to channel partners and customers. Ability to identify service offerings to meet partner needs and develop implementation strategy. Experienced ability to motivate, train and conduct seminars to drive mind share within managed partners to increase Citrix revenues. Possesses high level of specialized sales and product solution knowledge. Knowledge of complementary hardware and software solutions Capable of quickly learning new products and technologies. Understanding of technical sales techniques and processes including the ability to understand customer needs, overcome objections, assist in the development of business cases, and technically close deals. Ability to diffuse complicated technical and political situations with partners and customers. Can independently communicate and present solutions at a C-Level. Ability to establish and maintain relationships with Citrix practice leaders and technical personnel to increase Citrix mindshare within our channel partner to drive net new source opportunities. Must be flexible, dependable, and capable of quickly learning new products and technologies.
