Job Description:

Summary: Performs daily activities of the accounting and administrative assistant function at the facility by performing the following duties: Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Responsible for maintaining financial records Assist Finance staff with administrative duties as requested. Run financial reports from accounting system Perform various financial transaction tasks in Excel Maintain accounting and event files. Maintain Reconciliation templates for multiple GL accounts. Assist accountants with payroll and maintain filing system. Checking for accuracy of figures and data on worksheet Update AR reports daily. Send outgoing mail and ensure incoming mail is distributed to appropriate Finance team member. Supervisory Responsibilities This position does not have supervisory responsibilities. Education and/or Experience Associates degree Accounting or similar field 2 -3 years related experience, or combination of education and experience Skills and Abilities Excellent math skills and attention to details Strong communication skills Detail oriented Strong interpersonal skills to deal with internal and external people on all levels Self-starter Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of spreadsheets and word processing software and be willing to learn and use accounting and financial reporting software.
