Senior Accounting Manager

Senior Accounting Manager:
Manage the accounting team of 8-10 direct reports with various responsibilities including AP, AR, GL, Journal Entries as well as operational tasks
Assist with fixed assets and capital expenditure
Maintain internal controls with SOX requirements as well as participate with SOX Audits
Managing the operational accounting including AP, AR, Billing and Collections
Preform reviews on both financial and staff on an annual basis
Maintain GAAP compliance ensuring integrity and accuracy
Preparing monthly and year-end close proccess as well as posting and maintaining financial records and statements

Senior Accounting Manager Background Profile:
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
7+ years of Accounting experience with management/leadership experience
Good technical experience working with a large ERP within all modules
Strong Management abilities as this position will have 8 direct reports
Experience working within a fast-paced environment
Manufacturing or Construction experience preferred but not required
Experience with internal controls and US GAAP
