Job Description:

Blossom Trail LLC seeks a Senior Accountant in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Maintaining daily and monthly financial records for the hotel operations in compliance with the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and the US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Collecting financial data and examining financial information to record accounting entries, and applying full-cycle accounting by preparing financial statements and reports; Maintaining daily and monthly financial records for the hotel's operations, and ensuring that financial transactions are accurately reflected in compliance with accounting and legal requirements; Preparing cash deposits and monthly/quarterly/annual state tax returns, and processing payroll for the hotel personnel; Examining the efficiency of the generally accepted accounting principles, and improving processes for accounts payable, accounts receivable, expenses, financial accounting, and fixed assets; Creating and monitoring performance indicators, analyzing causes of unexpected variances, and implementing strategies to reduce costs, enhance revenues, and improve profits; Assessing financial information and preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other reports to summarize the current and projected company financial position. 24 months of experience with: 1) Assessing financial data as a hotel comptroller and 2) Using the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and the US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
