Staff Accountant - Inventory will be responsible for supporting the
accounting and inventory procurement departments with timely
processing of hourly and salaried payroll, accounts payable,
inventory transactions, and credit card transactions processing.
The ideal candidate would have relevant accounting experience.
Construction industry experience is a strong plus.ESSENTIAL JOB
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESCollect timesheets from team employees
and verify accuracyProcess salary payroll on a bi-weekly basis and
hourly payroll on a weekly basis for department internsLiaison with
Payroll Department to address and research any errors or changes to
weekly and bi-weekly payrollSetup new vendors with APProcess and
cost code accounts payable and purchase order invoices for multiple
projectsReconcile monthly statements for major vendors working
closely with the electrical team to ensure all invoices are
processed in a timely mannerPost purchase orders (commitments) and
follow up processAssist with preparation of journal entries to
transfer the cost of inventory items monthlyCollect, manage, and
code credit card receipts via CORPAY for project and field
personnelEnsure credit card charges are in adherence with company
policy and submitted within deadlinesProcess expense reports for
project and field personnel promptlySupport Inventory Accounting
and Procurement team as neededMaintain Inventory system database,
add new jobs, vendors, etc.Manage and maintain the collection of
waivers, POs, documentation to support the inventory
balancesPerform other duties as assignedEDUCATION AND WORK
EXPERIENCEAssociates or Bachelor's degree in accounting
preferred.1-3 years experience in accountingUnderstanding the full
accounting cycleExperience with accounting systemsGood written and
verbal communications skillsHigh attention to detailAbility to
multi task and prioritizeProficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word is
a mustExcellent analytical and computer skillsAlways maintain
