Fast growing insurance company looking for an experienced, hard working, dependable Accountant/ CPA Responsibilities:Prepare federal and state corporate returnsProfit & Loss statementsResearch tax issues and legislation.Provide and maintain proper documentation to support tax return calculationsInteract with personnel regarding tax return information, deadlines, etc. and keep team informed on statusGive insight and thought leadership on tax mattersAdditional responsibilities, not listed above may be expected as neededQualifications:Must have strong technology skills.Must have strong written and verbal communication skills and be able to listen effectively.Work well under pressure; able to meet deadlines with accuracyExcellent analytical, organization and problem solving skills are a mustFlexibility and openness to work on a variety of assignments; be able to multi-task.Basic knowledge of federal and state tax complianceTeam player with desire to be an active participant within the organizationKnowledge of basic tax laws/Generally Accepted Accounting PrinciplesAt least 3 months to 2 years of relevant tax experience.Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting from an accredited college or universityWork Location:One location - Tamarac, FLWork RemotelyNo Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
