Job Description:

How You Will Make an Impact Manage the day-to-day administration of various wellness and benefit programs, including the company's group health, dental and vision plan, life insurance, accident and disability, H.S.A, FMLA, tuition reimbursement and COBRA administration.
Collaborate with the Human Resources team to assess, plan and continually evaluate the organization's benefit programs to remain competitive in the marketplace.
Help manage 5500 reporting process for health and welfare and 401k, to ensure timely filing and compliance.
Audit and reconcile monthly premium statements and assist with all insurance billing.
Coordinate and conduct new team member benefit orientations to ensure team members gain an understanding of benefit plans and enrollment provisions, including use of self-enrollment system.
Prepare and maintain benefits census and monitor monthly enrollment reports and data to ensure accuracy.
Develop and coordinate Wellness initiatives.
Maintain employee benefit files and filing systems and ensure benefit changes are entered timely and accurately.
Work with benefit broker and carriers to resolve benefit related requests/issues in a timely manner.
Assist with the annual benefits open enrollment process.
Ensure distribution of employee annual notices and open enrollment communication.
Record, compile, and analyze data to improve wellness and benefit programs and influence change.
Develop benefits information and statistical and census data for actuaries, insurance carriers and management.
Prepare reports and analyze data for various project initiatives.

Business casual atmosphere - jeans and sneakers are okay by us What You Bring to the Table: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or related field
3+ years of Benefits administration and HR experience
Fluent in both English and Spanish a plus
Knowledge of federal and state regulations regarding COBRA, FMLA, ADA, ACA, ERISA, HIPAA, and workers' compensation
HRCI or SHRM certification a plus
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills with ability to interpret data, detect trends, draw conclusions, and formulate recommendations
Strong computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment with advanced proficiency in Excel
Proficiency with HR information systems and hands-on experience with ADP WorkforceNow and benefit provider systems
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail with ability to perform benefits related financial analysis
Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Team-oriented, flexible, and creative
Ability to perceive and analyze problems and make or recommend sound decisions
Critical thinking and effective time and project management skills a must EOE, DFWP
