are a focused, motivated and detail-oriented Senior Revenue
Accountant who has a preferred minimum of 3-5 years of prior
relevant experience. You will be working as part of the World Wide
Revenue operations team focusing on the financial Operation and
analysis of non-standard sales activity for the Americas.
Additionally, you will be directly involved in all aspects of
revenue accounting, including management of multi-element revenue
arrangements, deferred revenue, and SSP calculations.Position
Summary:As a Senior Revenue Accountant, you will be a key member of
the Americas Revenue Operations team. You will have excellent
problem solving and analytical skills, as well as strong commitment
to process improvement via automation. You will report to the
Senior Manager of Revenue Operations, routinely interacting with
cross-functional and global teams in the organization with an
end-to-end view on revenue accounting. Remote Opportunities
available.Primary duties/responsibilities:Support the finance
relationship with regional sales teams; supporting nonstandard deal
structuring (including approval of nonstandard pricing and
contractual terms); and analyzing their impact on the financial
statements.Prepare analyses of large transactions to document our
accounting conclusions in line with ASC 606, and ensure the
accuracy of those deals in our revenue system (RevPro) and ERP (SAP
R/3).Perform technical accounting research on revenue
recognition-related topics and provide guidancePrepare analyses to
support recurring technical accounting analysesPrepare other
analyses as needed to ensure the accuracy of revenue in our
financial statements and disclosures.Provide support for internal
and enterprise-wide project initiatives, including participation in
the areas of requirements, design, user acceptance testing, and
organizational readinessMaintain an understanding of the company
products and programs (new and existing) relative to their impact
on revenue transactions and the application of ASC 606Maintain
process documentation for areas of responsibilityInterface with
Internal and External Audit on revenue related issues.Preferred
Qualifications:Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
utilizing professional skepticismDesire for continuous process
enhancement, including periodic assessment due to rapid changing
businessProficient in researching accounting literature and
performing technical analysisStrong organizational skills with
ability to manage multiple priorities and projects effectively,
with consistent adherence to deadlinesAbility to work
independently, leveraging available tools and resourcesAbility to
plan out projects/tasks into clearly defined executable stepsStrong
communication skills, both verbal and writtenAdvanced Excel skills
(e.g. complex formulas, pivots)Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
requiredCPA license and/or Master's Degree (accounting or finance)
preferredCurrent or previous Big 4 or National Tier public
accounting firm audit experience (2+ years) requiredDetailed
understanding of ASC 606 and working knowledge of US GAAPBasic
Qualifications:Requires deep knowledge of job area obtained through
advanced education combined with experience.Viewed as having a
specialty within discipline.May have broad knowledge of project
managementRequires a University Degree or equivalent experience and
minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience; or Master's degree
