Position Summary:The Director of FP&A will serve as a strategic finance leader. Reporting directly to the CFO, this role will support leadership in evaluating growth opportunities, drive workstreams to improve data analysis, business intelligence, and manage revenue. This role will develop and execute several key business and financial initiatives, and will provide important analysis and advice to drive profitable growth across operations. The Director will support various reporting needs (Management reporting, Board reporting, Operations) and drive various corporate and strategic finance initiatives in tandem with the CFO and other leaders, as well as, develop business planning methods and processes that can be leveraged across the company and will facilitate company-wide strategic and business planning processes. The Director will support the CFO in identifying potential M&A opportunities and create financial models that provide financial analysis and decision support to leadership, advising on opportunities and risks impacting the business. Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's level education in Accounting or Finance. CPA or MBA or equivalent experience
  • 8 + years performing finance and accounting functions
  • Management skills and experience directing a financial department.
  • Excellent working knowledge of the Microsoft suite
    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Oversee, coordinate and facilitate the completion of planning and forecasting for the company, including owning the Company's operating model, with a constant focus on optimization and differentiation
  • Be comfortable with organizing, analyzing, and interpreting large data, identifying trends and drawing conclusions from data
  • Lead a cross-functional work stream to improve the quality of internal processes, systems, and data to allow for more a more complete understanding of the business
  • Manage premium underwriting, revenue and sales commissions. Negotiate provider and vendor agreements.
  • Produce Management, Board, and Operations reporting that effectively communicate business financial and operational performance to the CFO and leadership team.
  • Perform analysis (financial and operational) in the areas of sales, marketing, utilization and operations.
  • Create financial models providing financial analysis and decision support to leadership, advising on opportunities and risks impacting the business.
  • Lead Corporate/Strategic finance initiatives and special projects.
  • Perform financial analysis around historical trends and forecasts dealing with customers, products, competitors and financial results of divisions, segments or the company as a whole.

    SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

    • FP&A exposure, including budgeting, forecasting, and decision support. Enhancing the capabilities of a growing FP&A organization. Analytical rigor and comfort with analyzing and interpreting data. Including M&A, due diligence, deal negotiation, and integration. Experience in private equity or transaction-driven environment.
    • Prior experience leading workstreams around improving data, enhancing systems, dashboards, analytics, and reporting.
    • Experience leading a team. A true "player/coach", take a high level, strategic view to the business while still digging into details.
    • Collaborative, but also self-sufficient, motivated by the opportunity to lead with autonomy and independence.
    • Execution-oriented to "dig in" and get things done while securing the internal or external resources needed to achieve results.
    • Partner with senior executives to evaluate and shape finance and business strategy. Deep understanding of finance strategy in the context of a business partner.

      Work Schedule:As a continued effort to provide a safe and productive work environment, Community Care Plan is currently following a hybrid work schedule. Staff are able to work from home 3 days a week and will report to the office 2 days a week. *The company reserves the right to change the work schedules based on the company needs.
